We worked with the clients for almost a year in the planning stages designing the new spaces and figuring out the logistics of the structural work needed to fix the problems and allow for us to open the spaces. We then had to help as they waded through the condo association approval process which gave us time to fine tune the design and allowed for the client to bring a trusted interior designer into the team to help specify furniture, finishes, and colors.
Renovation: Warren Condo to Family Home
This project was several years in the making and involved the merging of two slope-side condominiums at Sugarbush. In addition to some very complicated structural work, there was some significant fixes that were required due to in improperly installed concrete slab floor back in the 1980’s. The clients originally purchased the first condo and when the neighboring unit went on the market they snapped it up and started planning for this investment in their family’s future.
It was a satisfying collaborative effort and yielded amazing results in the finished product.
Total Kitchen Renovation
In the process we removed one of the kitchens and reclaimed that space to the living room and re-purposed the plumbing to serve the wet bar. We also deleted one of the 4 bathrooms and turned it into a boot room and laundry area to stow the families ski gear.
Vermont Adventures Await
This is no longer a condo but rather a custom tailored family home for winter Vermont adventures, summer and fall hikes, and a getaway from their primary home in Massachusetts.
Now a four bedroom, three bath condo with a spectacular kitchen, two fireside seating and dining locations, and a wet bar area in the living room for entertaining.
Steps from the Sugarbush Slopes
Just steps from the slopes, this now is a premier condo at Sugarbush with all the amenities you would expect. It has helped to not only serve their needs and goals, but has helped to protect their investment for the future.
Remodeled Bedrooms and Bathrooms
All the bathrooms were completely remodeled and we added electric heat matts under the floor tile for comfort and to replace the old rusty electric baseboards in the bathrooms.
One of the bedrooms turned into a great bunk room for their boys and for friends and they now have a dedicated guest room as well.
